 Great Intentions

Have you ever started a project and had great intentions, but it never seems to move beyond that beginning?  I am there with you.  And as you can read by this blog, I am there now.

I have begun to update my world and found I had started this blog, but never moved forward beyond the first two blogs.

Then I was inspired by this scripture to move forward:

13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (NIV)

"Never give up" was a mantra from my nephew, Matt Obendorf.  His life and battle with cancer has always given me strength to never give up even when the odds are against me.

God Bless You and I hope to keep writing and encouraging others to do the same.

God Bless, Debi

Fall Beauty

The change of fall reminds me to be content in all of life's moments.  Our lives change in a blink of an eye...and yet if we be still and observe what is happening we find there is often beauty somewhere in our surroundings.  Start the process one breath at a time....In that one deep breath hold it to feel you are full of life...and as you exhale...know you will do it again.....and again....If it is but a moment in time....it is the beginning and a tiny glimpse into peace.  Ps. 46:10

Today is the first day blogging my musings.  I am excited and a bit scared to share my words with you.  I am pouring out my innermost feelings and not being sure they are going to be embraced.  And yet I feel the calling to share my insights and to begin a whole new chapter in my journey of life.

Today I share, I realize my life's path had many twists, turns, and branches...sometimes choosing the right one takes stepping out in faith.  The only assurance I have as I take this step...opening my blog...is that I am never alone in any step I take, God is always a step ahead.  Matt. 28:20
